I love his use of color to evoke feeling in each of his pieces like the raw brush strokes on the American Gods cover art pictured above. I am one of those people who when they see a witty shirt, has an uncontrollable need to own it. Then what happens? I realize how unflattering it is on me and it immediately becomes a night shirt or a “putting around the house” shirt. Well not anymore! Anything that involves a little violence and a lot of artsy is my cup of tea so this flower pounding printing project is right up my alley. Venting frustrations and creating beautiful works of art are two very important practices of mine and as far as I’m concerned, doing them both at the same just saves energy.
