Who doesn’t love Mexican? Raise your hands and then be prepared not to receive a holiday card from me! Haha, just kidding,we all know my specialty is Indian food! Anyway, Sweets loves Mexican and so that kind of means that I love Mexican now, or at least that I’ve developed a love for it out of a desire to not be a Picky Peggy. Enchiladas are one of my favs, especially since I’ve kind of burritoed myself out over the last couple of years, and ranch dressing is another one of those things I rarely have and love. Click here for the recipe and don’t knock it until you try it, ranch is great, especially on anything.

Make Your Own Lip Gloss
Most of the recipes for making your own lip gloss call for Kool-Aid, which is fine, but I kind of like this sugar free option of using Crystal Light. Also making your own lip gloss just sounds like fun (^_^). Click here for the how-to.
Pavlova with Lemon Curd and Mixed Berries
I just bought a big jar of lemon curd and I keep spreading in on my toast, which I know isn’t really that healthy since there’s enough sugar in there to put an elephant into a diabetic coma, but I don’t really care. I love lemon curd. A lot. I also love meringue and indulging every once in a while in something completely decadent and ridiculously sweet. Lemon curd and heavy cream atop a pillow of meringue, topped with your favorite fresh berries; get the recipe here and show me how the piggies eat!
Rad Feather Earrings
One of my foster mothers had a pair of feather earrings she had made in her high school days out of loon feathers and they were gorgeous! I would beg her all the time to let me borrow them, I loved them so much! The Plumed Nest has shared this tutorial with us on making your very own pair so click here for the how-to.
Italian Breakfast Cakes
Hey, did you know that Italians eat cookies and/or cake for breakfast? Well neither did I until Elizabeth Minchilli in Rome’s blog post where she shares this little tidbit of cultural whatnot and also two Italian breakfast cake recipes. Believe it or not the cakes aren’t all that bad for you, better, if you think of all the sugar in most cereals (especially granola!). Click here for the recipe and enjoy!
Pease Porridge Pasta
I’m such a nut for anything with cheese on it, Parmesan being one of my favorites, I imagine I’ll be making this dish any day now haha. I bet this would be great as an entree or as a side! Click here for the recipe.
Instagram Clock
I love this idea for a graduation present for a friend; you can take some of the pictures from over the years of your friendship and make your best bud a clock with all your memories on it. Plus everyone needs a clock and anyone who has gone clock shopping knows how expensive those really nice and big ones can be! Click here for the how-to.
